A brief introduction
Welcome to my portfolio :D I'm Albert Yuou Liu, you can just call me Albert though :D Having obtained my Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Film & Media from Queen's University, Master of Digital Media degree from Ryerson University (now TMU), 4 years of cinematography and video editing, 3 years of photography and photo editing combined with experience in customer service, I am truly a one-man team. My films' genre include but are not limited to: documentary, advertisements, creative, experimental, sports and much more.
I love making things with my own hands as it gives me sheer pleasure. Enjoying the process and knowing that I have made several mini legacies of my own is what keeps me going. I believe films and photos are meant to be more than just entertainment, they're meant to be shared, enjoyed, inspiring and to provoke deep thoughts.

In 2022 August, I obtained my Business Intelligence (data analytics) certificate from WeCloudData and now also create dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for fun. My current project at the moment is finding the correlation between vaccinations, GDP and GDP per capita.
In the past my background used to comprise of the sciences, economics and D&T (Design and Technology). To this very day I still think of ideas on how to combine all disciplines together. For me, an idea is just an empty concept. One should attempt to make idea come true regardless of success or failure.
